Does Canola Oil Contribute to Dementia|Alzheimer's|Alzheimer's Disease?

Olive oil, unlike Canola, has been proven to help in reducing levels of amyloid plaques in the brain. These plaques have been revealed to be at higher levels in Alzheimer's patients. Since this is so, scientists needed to know if canola oil would have the exact same healthy effect on our brains.

A research study was performed at LKSOM (Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University) utilizing 2 groups of mice. One group was fed a normal diet, while the other group's diet was supplemented with approximately 2 Tablespoons of canola oil every day. The outcomes cast doubt on how healthy Canola Oil may in fact be.
